What's your favorite Romance Novel?

With Valentine's Day, February is the month for romance fiction. We'd love to hear from you with your answer to the following question:

What is your all-time favorite Romance novel?

This could be a classic, like Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind, or a contemporary, such as one of today's hottest writers. Perhaps you prefer Regency Romances (if so, check out our new booklist -- Regency Romances), or maybe you're into Paranormals, or Romantic Suspense. Whatever your romance fiction preferences, we'd love to hear about your favorites in the comments below!

"Somebody's Baby" by Sandra Kitt. It was a Harlequin American romance from the 1980s(?), but really got to me somehow, with strong characterizations and a decent plot. Better than the average Harlequin novel!

OUTLANDER by Diana Gabaldon. Fabulous historical time-travel romance with intense amounts of historical detail, and a believable heroine.

I really enjoyed Jude Deveraux's "A Knight in Shining Armor", especially her 2002 revised edition. But then I pretty much love anything by Deveraux. *lol*

My favorite romance novel is definetly OUTLANDER by Diana Gabaldon! Just the right mix of history, adventure and a steamy yet believable romance! My husband even likes this series!

I like a lot of the old classic authors, like Kathleen Woodiwiss, LaVyrle Spencer, Catherine Cookson and Judith McNaught. It's hard to pick just one book, though.

I also have a soft spot for the entire Dana Fuller Ross "Wagons West" series from back in the 1970s and 1980s. I keep going back and rereading my favorites from that series. Anybody else do that?
