A Game of Thrones
by George R.R. Martin [Martin]
Game of Thrones is a highly political and filled with back stabbing and trickery. The story is at times very dark yet compulsively readable. I would want to put it down and then have to know what happend next. I loved the character work. I really liked some and then actively wished the demise of others (evil Lannisters). Everyone is flawed and has their own aspirations and longings. My only real issue is that their are so many characters which after a hundread pages or so I learned, but also there is so many little side characters that are easily forgotton of mixed up. -- review submitted by Wyatt P. - a customer of the Gere Branch Library
