New Booklist on BookGuide: Culinary Crime

In conjunction with the theme of the August Just Desserts mystery book club discussion online on Zoom, an extensive new booklist has been shared to the resources available on the Lincoln City Libraries’ BookGuide reader resources pages.

Culinary Crimes compiles a master list of 127 authors who write mysteries – mostly “cozies” and “amateur detectives” – set in the word of food and drink preparation.

From Diane Mott Davidson’s caterer Goldy Schultz, to Joanne Fluke’s baker Hannah Swensen, to the Coffeehouse Mysteries of Cleo Coyle, and Rex Stout’s gourmand detective Nero Wolfe, if you like mysteries with a specialized setting, you’ll find something to appeal to you in this resource.
