Pat Leach, Director of the Lincoln
City Libraries, made it a goal, several years ago, to sample as many of the
novels and non-fiction works on the annual American Library Association’s “Notable
Books” list as possible, and each year she shares her thoughts about selected
titles from each year’s list, in booktalks both in the libraries and to civic
groups. In 2019, she presented her talk that included works from the 2018 “Notable
Books” ALA recommendations.
