The protagonist of this series lets
us know early on that she’s a homicide detective who killed a man while in
college, but was never caught. Her best friend is in trouble & needs Casey
to disappear with her which leads Casey to Rockton, a town that exists on no
map. In the middle of northern Canada, Casey finds a town much like one of out
the old west where people escaping danger can come for up to two years. Her
first task: help find a murderer. This is the first in an on-going series.
