Going Bovine is about Cameron Smith who has Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease (the human equivalent of Mad Cow Disease) and is visited occasionally by a punk angel named Dulcie; he goes on a road trip w/ a dwarf and a lawn gnome. Locus compares it to Don Quixote with Ken Kesey Electric Koolaid overtones. -- recommended by Susan S. - Eiseley Branch Library
